Fee:  Grades 2 - 4  $225

         Grades 5 - 8  $350

*There will be a MANDATORY BOYS tryout for Grades 6-8 at the end of September/beginning of October...details will follow at a later date*

 

Fees Include - Practice/Home Game Gym Space, Officials (1 Official per game 2nd-4th and 2 Officials per game 5th-8th), DRSA Admin Fees, JPS Scheduling Fees, Gym Monitors (if needed at a location), Season Scholarships (Dakota Ridge Area Players ONLY), End of Season Tournament Area Contribution (t-shirts, gym space, officials), and Liability Insurance.

**ALL NEW DRSA PLAYERS MUST PURCHASE A NEW UNIFORM, WHICH INCLUDES A CUSTOM SUBLIMATED REVERSIBLE JERSEY AND SHORTS**

  • When Will The First Practice Be?: Practices should start around the first week of November
  • When Will The First Game Be?: The first game of the season normally starts the week after Thanksgiving.
  • Can My Player "Play Up"?: Players are discouraged from "playing up" and may only do so with prior approval from a DRSA basketball director before enrolling. Regardless of this, all players MUST enroll for their correct grade.
  • Where Will Games Be Played?: Away games will be played at various locations. Home games may be played at Summit Ridge Middle School and/or Dakota Ridge High School, Lilly Gulch, or The Ridge.
  • What Do My Fees Include?: DRSA Admin Fees, Gym Space Practices/Home Games, JPS Scheduling Fees, Gym Monitors (if needed at a location), Officials, 2026-27 Scholarships, End of Season Tournament Area Contribution (t-shirts, gym space, officials), and Liability Insurance.
  • Do I need purchase a uniform?: All NEW players to DRSA MUST purchase a uniform, which consists of a custom sublimated reversible jersey and shorts. RETURNING DRSA players DO NOT need to purchase a uniform unless they need a jersey, shorts, or both due to loss, damage, or needing a new size. **UNIFORMS ARE SOLD SEPARATELY THROUGH AN INDEPENDENT DEALER AND ARE NOT A PART OF THE 2026-27 WINTER YOUTH BASKETBALL FEES**
  • Pay A Deposit When I Register?: YES! A $100 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT is due when you register. This amount will be applied to your total fees once your player is placed on a DRSA team.
  • Why Is My Deposit NON-REFUNDABLE?: This amount covers non-refundable processing and admin fees. **Refunds of the deposit amount ARE ONLY REFUNDABLE IF DRSA CANNOT ASSIGN YOUR PLAYER TO A TEAM.
